I went to see “Sex & The City 2″ with Tara last night. What was I thinking? Seriously??

I kind of liked the first movie which was panned by the critics, but this time I really wish I had listened to them. Unlike SATC1 which at least had the story line of “Will Carrie finally marry Mr. Big?”, this has nothing except product placement, gratuitous shots of bouncing boobs and fit guys taking their tops off (though that’s fair enough ).

After the first hour I consoled myself with the thought that it couldn’t go on for much longer… another 80 minutes later it finally finished. The film was partly saved by some fabulous one-liners from Samantha, all of which are far too rude to repeat here, but that was about it.

If you’re thinking about going to see SATC2, you’d be far better off saving your money or spending it on something else. Wait for the DVD to come out… at least then you’ll be able to switch it off and watch TV instead.
